Itinerary
Your incredible journey to the Lahaul–Spiti Valley begins with an overnight Volvo bus ride from Delhi. Guests are requested to report at the scheduled departure point on time. Get ready for a journey that offers spiritual peace for meditators, creative energy for artists, and unforgettable adventures for thrill-seekers.
Upon arrival at Manali Volvo stand, you’ll be welcomed by our representative and driven to Sissu, located in the beautiful Lahaul Valley. En route, enjoy panoramic views at Solang Valley and travel through the engineering wonder, Atal Tunnel, the world’s longest highway tunnel above 10,000 ft. As you emerge on the other side, the scenery transforms dramatically from pine forests to barren valleys. After crossing the Chandra Bridge and spotting the iconic Sissu Waterfall, check in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Sissu.
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey to Kaza, the heart of Spiti Valley. Drive through scenic landscapes and pass Kunzum La (4,551 m), the gateway to Spiti. You’ll witness changing terrains and reach Losar, the first village in Spiti, before continuing to Kaza, the sub-divisional headquarters of the valley. Check in to your hotel, unwind, and enjoy a traditional dinner.
Today, explore the mesmerizing region around Kaza. Visit the sacred and ancient Key Monastery, perched dramatically on a hilltop. Proceed to Kibber Village, once known as the world’s highest motorable village, and spot wildlife in the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary, home to the elusive Blue Sheep and Ibex. End the day with a visit to Komic, Asia’s highest village connected by motorable road. Return to the hotel for dinner and a well-earned rest.
After breakfast, check out and begin the breathtaking drive to Chandratal Lake, crossing Kunzum Pass once again. Located at 4,300 meters, Chandratal is a shimmering, crescent-shaped lake with turquoise waters surrounded by mighty peaks. Upon arrival, check in to your camp near Chandratal, relax, and witness a magical sunset by the lake. Dinner and overnight at camp.
After breakfast, begin your return journey to Manali via Batal, Chhatru, and again through the Atal Tunnel. Stop at scenic spots like Solang Valley for some quick exploration. On arrival in Manali, check in to your hotel and relax. Enjoy your final dinner in the mountains and reflect on the incredible journey.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Before heading back, explore Manali’s local attractions on your own—such as the Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, IBEX Market, and Mall Road. Report at the private Volvo stand as per your schedule and return to Delhi with beautiful memories of Spiti’s untouched beauty.
