Itinerary
Upon arrival at Leh Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Given the high altitude, you’ll have time to rest and acclimatize. In the evening, if you're feeling comfortable, you can visit local attractions like the bustling Leh Market, Leh Palace, Hall of Fame, and the peaceful Shanti Stupa. Return to the hotel for dinner and enjoy an overnight stay in Leh.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour around Leh. Visit Shey Palace, the historical summer palace of the royal family, followed by Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery — one of the wealthiest in Ladakh — and the Stok Palace Museum, known for its traditional royal artifacts. The tour will also take you to Sindhu Ghat, situated on the banks of the sacred Indus River. After a culturally enriching day, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the world-renowned Pangong Lake. The journey takes you through the breathtaking Changla Pass (17,350 ft), the third-highest motorable road in the world. Upon arrival at Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), take in the unmatched beauty of this high-altitude saline lake that changes colors throughout the day. The lake is shared by India and China, and its surreal setting is unforgettable. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a scenic lakeside campsite in Pangong.
After breakfast, check out from the campsite and drive back to Leh via the same route. Arrive in Leh by afternoon or early evening. Check into your hotel, relax after the long journey, and enjoy your last night in Ladakh with a peaceful dinner.
